Halo (n):  circle of protective light surrounding the heads of special people

Housed in the location of a former beloved LGBTQ+ bar, Halo was born of the vision to provide a safe, chic, and accepting space for all members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.  Our deepest desire is to create both a haven and a sanctuary for all who walk through our doors - to feel not just like patrons - but family, free of discrimination or judgement of any kind.  Halo was created out of absence; absence of securely curated spaces on Long Island where our family can come together to love, gather, and create.  We have boldly ignited as a new beacon of empowerment in the heart of Oceanside. Through our dedication to creating a safe and inclusive space, this owned and operated gay bar stands as a testament to the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. Allow our circle of protective light to emerge as a halo for all of you - and transport you to a world free of insecurities or  judgments - where time is controlled only by glitter, libations, and vibes.
